Here is another product by 3CE. It is a moist primer balm that covers your pores and smoothens your skin. Now, how is this different from Maybelline's Pore Eraser? Not much. Both has nearly the same effect. But if you are really concerned about your pores, how long it will last and so on, we would suggest you go for this, the 3CE Pore Silky Balm.
You may ask why? This also acts as a primer. Meaning it has a dual function now, it will cover your pores and at the same time act as your primer. Therefore, is has ingredients that help your makeup last longer too. It is the same as the "Pore Eraser" as such it goes on matte. However when you first rub to melt it, it is of a creamy texture. Only when you spreadly it out it will turn to matte. One thing we really realised was with the Pore Eraser when you look at your skin with it on, it does not look oily, but when you feel it, it feels a little silky. However with this 3CE Pore Balm, it last longer with the baby matte skin effect before it turns slightly silky.
The balm is also transparent. So when you apply it on, do not be surprised if you still see your pores. Because this is supposed to even out your skin. To understand this, look to the illustration below.
Before we end this review, to help you understand why a lot of people depend on this product is as the photos below with and without flash.
We already saw on the website page on testing the product on an orange and we just had to try it to see if it really works so. We hope this review was helpful ! *Do note that it is better to cure your pores instead of keep covering them up. Clogged pores will only make your pores worse !
Direction - Before makeup, scoop up a small amount with the spatula and apply on the back of your hand. Let it melt a little (from our body heat). Apply on areas with wide pores. Proceed to base makeup (foundation etc).
Verdict - Good product, for its dual function as well.
Rating - 3.5/5
