REVIEW - 3CE Slim Fit Powder Pact

Price - USD30.83
Where to buy - stylenanda

How do you judge a powder pact? You would want one that wont cake you up, white you out, seal your foundation on and also best if it works in keeping oil away. As you can see above, the size of 3CE's pact is pretty big, the size of a palm, or about so. It has this lid that separates the powder from the puff, which we really like, because it does seem a little unhygienic to leave the puff in the powder at all times after it has touched your at times oily skin surface.

It comes in two colours, #SOFT BEIGE, and #NATURAL IVORY. The #Soft Beige colour as from the website looked darker, and #Natural Ivory is of a lighter shade. We tried this out on the #SOFT BEIGE and it blended pretty well with our tanned skin colour. The texture of the sponge is pretty soft and rubbery and it helps blend in the powder pretty well. It is just as build-able as many other pacts, but be careful not to overdo it.

This powder pact also has the tendency to white you out like all other pacts. However this products works slower at that when compared to the highly raved ZA's Silky Smooth powder. Therefore you would probably have to put on more than 2 layers before you white out in very well lighted places. It of course blocks the oil off and has pretty long control of it. You can trust this for a night. Or if you need touch up, just keep it in your purse when you're out. This worked for sensitive skin as it did not cause any breakouts or blemishes the next day. Skin was still calm and collected.

Many people tend to overdo the powder, thus giving a white out face, especially when you take pictures with flash on. Sometimes it is not the powder's flaw, but it is the way you use it. Try not to put on too much powder, especially when you're out for a hot night out too. We would give extra points for its packaging however we are not a fan of its price. If you are already using another brand of powder and is cheaper, might as well stay with it if it works well for you. They are all nearly the same anyways.
