REVIEW : (3CE) 3 Concept Eyes // UV Fresh Fluid

Price - USD20.92
Where to buy - Stylenanda

Sunscreens are known to protect our skin from the sun and UV rays. UV rays can damage the skin and cause skin to age. Sunscreens also help in achieving fairer skin. Here's some useful facts about sunscreen credit to stylenanda.

SPF stands for "Sun Protection Factor". On sunscreen products, you'll see numbers ranging from 25 to 50 that indicate UVB protection levels. UVB is a UV ray that tans or reddens skin after long exposure to sunlight. Higher numbers indicate how long the sunscreen remains effective. For outdoors, 40SPF would be good and 30 to 35 is good for indoor activities and best applied every 3 to 5 hours.

On a sunscreen, you will see "PA++". These "+" refer to the amount of protection it offers from the UVA rays. UVA exists regardless of season and time, and causes skin ageing. It also increases melanin pigments, darkening your skin tone with melanoma, moles and freckles. Therefore, its always good to use sunscreens with higher PA levels, labeled by more "+" signs.

Now with a better understanding on why is sunscreen so important for our skin, lets start. Firstly on the product from what we have read, it would be good for both outdoor and indoor activities and offers a good amount of protection from UVA rays with 3 "+". However when buying sunscreen, they are all pretty much the same including this one. We would normally just choose our buys based on the SPFs or PA ratings of the product.

It is white and spreads on transparent as below.

The fluid is liquid enough yet has enough density in it that feels like the sunscreen works. Because of its liquid component, it spreads evenly and even oxidises well with our skin. This would mean the finishing on your skin wont be left white as certain other sunscreen. You get what we mean right? that white-off effect at different angles? Also, we noticed a strong sharp fragranced smell of it that sharpens even more when you put it on, which could irritate your senses if you're sensitive to smells.

However, we find nothing really special about this sunscreen other than it oxidises well on the skin. It is not feather light and you can definitely feel the weight on your skin. But if you are used to that feeling then you should try this. Or if you could find a sunscreen with as much protection from the sun as high as this at a much lower price, we suggest you get that one. This product might be hard to access too as you can only get it in Korea for its stated price, to deliver it to where you are, it will incur you shipping fees.

**This product is not waterproof, we've tried it to the pool. And there were white streams and drops of it just trickling down our faces. If you're heading to the pool or beach, we suggest you look for a waterproof sunscreen in order for it to work.
Directions : After putting on your basic routine, squeeze a 10cent amount on the back of your palm, dot on face then spread.

Verdict - A little too pricey. Did protect skin, would substitute for another sunscreen definitely.

Rating - 2/5
