REVIEW : (3CE) 3 Concept Eyes // Skin Tone Control Primer

Price - USD24.22
Where to buy - Stylenanda

3CE's tone control primer was made for the extra purpose of brightening skin tone. It comes in 3 colours for different skin tones.
Colour #MILD PEACH : Yellow toned skin
Colour #PURE VIOLET : Dull and dark skin
Colour #ICE VANILLA : Reddish skin

We tried out only two colours(pure violet&ice vanilla) and this review will only be based on them. They were reviewed on reddish skin after applying moisturiser without any foundation on top.

First impression of the product was simple minimalist packaging, but something just pops about it. It comes in a 30ml tube which is convenient for travel and one tube should last you about 2 months with everyday use.

Both colours were understood to have similar effects and basically just differs on which skin colour you have or what do you want. Whether if its to brighten up your skin or tone down the redness of it. For first use, becareful not to squeeze and end up using too much on your skin as this product has oil controlling components and it might dry out your skin. The effects of the product will only be felt after 2 to 3 hours of settling in. This is because during the first few hours after cleansing, our skin naturally do not oil so much and is still fresh even as we are in outside air.

As it is mentioned to brighten your skin, we felt it did not do much so at first. You wont realise if it brigthens your skin but as the hours of wear pass you will realise your skin looking bright. It keeps your skin looking dew-ily fresh but not oily at all even after a few hours. This condition usually last until even 7 to 8 hours after leaving the house. This works especially well only for #Pure Violet.

Now for both colours, we will make a short review separately below.

#PURE VIOLET

This one works like a charm to brighten up your skin. As it was tested on sensitive red skin, it also evens out the redness, and all it looks just so naturally blend in you will not be embarrassed the next time you blush and get worried you get too red. We especially realised the impact of this product in this colour especially when we stopped using it, skin returned to its dull colour, which is just no longer acceptable.

#ICE VANILLA

Truthfully, this felt like a completely different product if not for the same packaging. Maybe its purpose was only to cover redness but however the other colour we tested #Pure Violet which originally was for dull skin covered red spots better. We were less than impress by this colour we have been using it less. Because it seemed like just an extra layer of product on the face with no purpose.

Directions : After putting on your moisturiser, squeeze a 10cent amount on the back of your palm, dot on face then spread. Continue with foundation if desired.

Verdict - We suggest you try this product out in #Pure Violet first, especially if you have dull skin. You have our word for it.

Rating - 4/5
