REVIEW : Etude House Dr.Ampoule Dual Sheet Mask

To be honest, we got attracted to this particular mask as obviously, its packaging. Just something about it that makes it look like it works. Next step was to try it out. Etude House has a few types of masks from its Dr.Ampoule range, which includes Brightening, Time, Lifting, Vital and Essential. We alas settled for Lifting, a mask essentially fitted for our age, we assume.

We like the idea that we had to put on the serum before hand, it makes you feel it is as if getting your skin prepared. And you do know how usually you put on a mask with essence on it. So it is not directly going deep into your skin such as the serum, if you get what we mean. However this is just our perception of it all, for our minds before we actually try it out so its pretty positive.

The serum, had a gel texture to it, not very fluid definitely as in the photo taken above. It kind of soaked it pretty fast. Such as after putting on the serum onto the face, while taking the mask out of the package, we could could feel the serum already drying up a little. The mask fitted really well, at first we thought it was just probably a gimmick of advertising when we read about how their masks were make to fit your face well. Surprisingly it is pretty adhesive which we realised when we were taking it off, fitted like a glove.

After taking it off and massaging the remainder of the essence onto our skin, you usually do not realise much of a difference in your first use. However with this mask, you could really see your skin got firmer. Firmer in the sense that you could see your skin tightened up and less wrinkly. Do note that for use of this mask, our reviewer had notices the wrinkles around her eyes that were usually there were less visible.

Also note that after leaving the remainder essence onto your skin, you may carry on your daily routine. But for our personal preference we found it too thick and a little sticky for leaving it out to leave the house, or to pile on make-up. So we would suggest using this mask probably a few our before you are to leave home or maybe if you are staying in or at night when you are no longer going out.

So to conclude, it does work? We hope it does ! I mean it did work for the first use, it should logically work even better after a few uses right?

Direction - Firstly apply #1 serum to your face. Remove #2 mask sheet and adjust onto face. Gently use fingers to sooth out to the sides of the mask. Leave on for 15 to 20 minutes. Remove mask and allow remaining essence to absorb into skin.

Verdict - Definitely worthy of repurchase.
