Price : SGD60.00(Pack of 3)
Where to buy : Changi International Airport Singapore
Size : Box of 18ml x 3 pieces
Firstly to talk about the access to the product. We are not sure if they sell it in other parts of Malaysia but after searching around, there do not seem to be any. So your best bet to get this item would be at Changi International. If we are not wrong, it was at terminal two, however the airport's main beauty hub is pretty synchronised on their brands across their three terminals. Their hubs look like the photo below. So yeah, if there is a chance you need to purchase an item but they do not have it, always ask them to check if the other terminals still have stocks.
Another way to get Fancl would be through online stores which would probably charge a heavy fee for shipping costs and for just masks would otherwise not be worth it. Another bet should be on Ginza St. in Japan. On our recent trip there we spotted a standalone Fancl store right in the centre of it, right opposite Uniqlo.
Now to know how much is it worth to get these sheets of masks. Upon removing the mask, what we realised was how dry it was, as compared to the usual face mask sheets these days. They would be completely soaked and dripping if not all sticky and goo-ey, but this was not. It seemed just enough. It has not any strong scent or anything.
What we realise liked about this mask was it being relaxing when we had it on. Different from other mask sheets, this one has its mask cover your eyes as well. There is a flap, that you could pull over your eyes which is is cooling to the eyes. As for after you remove the mask, and massage the remaining onto your skin, it is not sticky as well, therefore you could continue to put on your moisturiser or emulsion after that.
We tried this overnight. This meant we had the mask on on the night before, removed it, then put on moisturiser and would only decide on the results of it the next morning. We did expect a little bit more after we took the mask off the night before. There was somewhat like a white layer left on the skin, like you just powdered your face the only difference your skin is not left matte. To continue, the next morning, we did realise our skin was a little bit brighter. We went on to use this mask a few more times, and we are satisfied. The setback would really be it not being easily accessible in Malaysia.
We are not sure when would be the optimal time advisable by Fancl, however we would suggest you to use this before bed. Let it work on your skin throughout the night, lights off. We would like to think that would help more than having the sun and lights around our skin after we have treat our skin to a whitening mask right?
Direction - Remove mask and adjust to fit face. Leave on for 5 to 10 minutes. Gently massage remaining essence onto face with fingertips. Use two or three times per week or as needed.
Verdict - Worked satisfactorily but a bit expensive for a mask at approx MYR14. Hard to purchase as well.
Rating - 4/5
