REVIEW : Nivea Visage Sparkling White Double Action Whitening Mask

When it comes to sheet masks, there is mainly two of them that will come to mind. One of them being Nivea Visage's Double Action Whitening Mask. 

Starting on the review, we are not sure if was it because of the pink packaging that convinced us or was it the reflection of it, but after using this mask, the skin was glowy with slight pink tint to it. We are not sure if it is the skin's reaction to the mask but even trying it on a few times on a few different people, the results came out the same. You might think we are biased but this seriously works in that manner.

What really surprised us was how well and fast it worked. You did not have to wait very long for the results, just 20 minutes. We recommend washing your face after using this mask. This is an special step for keeping your skin clean. After patting dry, we instantly felt our skin mellowed to such a soft state, it is soft and youthful looking with the pink tints as well. We are really impressed with this one. We really had a boost in bare skin confidence too.

This mask is understood to make you fairer. We completely forgot the purpose of trying out this mask, that we didnt mind not seeing the whitening work instantly. Watching our skin glow took our attentions already. Whitening actually takes more times of constant use and it will only work especially with toher whitening products and with more effort not with just masks. You need to apply sunscreen and protect your skin well if you really look to have whiter skin.

And if it is too costly to buy just one sheet, so look for stores that sell them in boxes that have 5 sheets in each. An added tip, this mask is especially good for use in the middle of the day or right after your shower, it gives you this refreshing feeling. Right when your skin is ready to take in the product, perfect timing.


Direction -  Place mask onto face. Gently press with fingertips to adjust and leave it in its place for 15 minutes. Massage residue on to face, then rinse off with cold water. Gently pat dry.

Verdict - Favourite for instant glow and a boost in radiance.

REVIEW : NIVEA VISAGE Q10 Anti-Wrinkle Eye Cream

This cream comes in a small tube, but be surprised it can actually last you quite awhile, even up to two to three months with constant daily use. It has no smell and has a white creamy texture, such as below. We appreciate the fact too that there is a tip at the tube for more precise direct application.

To start, this product just barely works. We are not sure how this worked out but we actually tried on this product about 2 years ago and it worked perfectly. Like eyebags would disappear within a week of use. However as we started to use it again about 3 to 4 months back, it barely worked. Was it the formula that changed, or our lifestyle?

Recalling from our past experience, we would have to divide this review into two parts.

#Review from 2 years ago.

It wont make your eyebags magically disappear but overtime, it really helps reduce the wrinkles around your eyes. We applied this religiously every night and the results were seen even from the first week. The wrinkles at the end of the eyes which were especially seen when you smile and laugh were magically smoothen out.

#Present review as of today.

It barely works now. Probably 2 years ago we had more rest and sleep. But shouldnt this product work even after 4 months of religiously applying it? It seems to be a waste and we are disappointed at the excitement when we saw it at the store again after the years have passed. We did not see much improvement, the wrinkles which were there 4 months ago are still here sadly.

We would really recommend it two years ago and we regret to say not anymore now. And also for the price and the wait for it to work, it is just not worth it. We suggest you to try some other eye cream for wrinkles, you can cross this one out for now.

**Do not expect eye creams to save your wrinkles, always get enough rest and sleep and eat healthy.

Directions : Squeeze a small amount on the outer part of each eye and gently dab towards the nose.

Verdict - Really disappointed, not recommended.
